The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum (AYCF) has condemned the Northern Governors’ sudden change of heart regarding the national tax reform bills. The governors initially opposed the reforms, citing concerns about their potential negative impact on the Northern economy. However, they have now inexplicably capitulated to the reforms, leaving many questioning their motives.
According to the AYCF, the governors’ actions constitute a clear betrayal of the trust placed in them by the Northern people. The AYCF has called for greater accountability from the governors, urging them to focus on their primary responsibilities.
